SEA KAYAK
Kekova + Aperlai
An extension of the Kekova Short Route, this route continues beyond the Sunken City and Simena all the way to the ancient port of Aperlai. With 4-5 hours of paddling, it is an ideal route for more experienced paddlers and adventure seekers.

Activity Program
Our day begins at 07:45 at our office. (Kalkan departure: 07:30)
Once we arrive at Ucagiz Bay, we start paddling past the Necropolis of the ancient city of Teimiussa.
We paddle along Kekova Island with the stunning view of Simena Castle. As we cross the Sunken City from east to west, we observe the ancient ruins beneath the water.
When we reach Polemos, we take a break at the fish restaurant for lunch. Swimming break and rest time.
After lunch, a 20-minute walk takes us to the ancient city of Aperlai.
At Aperlai, we explore the ancient port, church, and necropolis. We also get the chance to swim in crystal-clear waters.
On the return journey, we enjoy the unique views of Kekova once more before heading back to our starting point at Ucagiz Bay.
This route is ideal for more experienced paddlers or adventure seekers.
